Mán Melá Theatre Company

Set up in London in 1997 to celebrate the British Asian experience by producing challenging theatre.

The company has highlighted the role of Indian Soldiers in World War One along with many other creative works.

Our Projects

  • 2014

    Salt of the Sarkar

    Project launch in Autumn 2014.  This is our special production to commemorate the centenary of WW1 paying homage to the soldiers from the Indian subcontinent.

  • 2003

    Cornershop

    A successful run of three very special plays during the year 2003.  This project toured all over the country to great critical acclaim and was loved by the audiences.
